Finca (Farm) Dos Marias was cultivated in 1800s and remains in the hands of the fifth-generation family members to this day. Their farm produces some of the most stable, finest beans in the world. For the last 30 years, Dos Marias has been home to 250 families with recognition of fair trade practices.
Commitment to the Environment
The commitment to great beans and quality products has extended to the environment itself. Finca Dos Marias has cut back cultivation to thirty percent to preserve the virgin cloud forest above the farm. The forest has become a domain breeding ground for the nearly extinct Quetzal bird.
